Ah, yes it does.

Seems somebody changed the alloys though because it lists 22540R18 and 25535R18. The plot thickens.

Or maybe not - just looked up the VIN and the 17" alloys are listed as part of the build. Never had a car with so many different tyre sizes before.

No idea if my rears should be different now.

Does the Center console area always stay in Piano black? When I was looking it always matched the main trim?

I believe so. Every E-Class I saw / test drove had the same piano black trim in the centre, irrespective of trim and trim colour.

I believe in the US you can customise it with matt finishes etc. The gloss black looks nice but it's obviously bound to make dust / finger prints extremely visible.

Hello Mercedes owners and enthusiast !

OI have owned many a German wip over the years, mostly Audis and BMWs but never owned a MB. Loving the look of a lot of the current line up and after seeing a few I'm now looking to pick up a ~18 month old CLS 220 - main dealer.

is there anything I should be looking out for?

Cheers :)

Just out of curiosity how much are you paying for it? What trim level is on it, Premium or Premium plus pack? :)

You can get a brand new one for £30k as the new model is launched next month.

Given the CLS is a 4 door 4 seater coupe with a ton of space I'm suprised at how frugal the rear seats are. I expected the rears to have independent recline, heated seats etc.,

Instead all you get are two cubbyholes and a few air vents.

Very nice. Hopefully it doesn't have the airmatic suspension. The only issues I've had with mine so far is with the airmatic system leaking.

That's because it's basically an E-class.

You'd need an S-Class with rear seat comfort options for all that stuff :)

My father has a CLK with a full AMG bodykit (engine untouched). Not actually sure if you can really call that AMG but it's still cool nonetheless

So except from loosing a seat, and adding two cubby holes what do you get in the rear of a CLS that you don't get in rear of E Class?

It looks sleeker - there's no real practical reason for picking a CLS over an E-Class. If you don't need 3 rear seats then I guess it doesn't really matter.
