I think 31.5" may be a bit big, however I can't find any affordable 27" 1440p Freesync monitors. So for £200 I'll use this, and if I find it too big I'll have it as second monitor for watching video, being VA should be very good for that. And I wouldn't have spent a huge amount if I find it's too big.

AOC AG322QCX is double the price. Wondering if it's worth that, as it has LFC, 144hz.

That has slightly higher pixel per inch count than 24" 1080p.

I hope you have good eyesight, Windows 10 still has poor scaling promises aside of improvements.

I have 20/20 or better (tested recently) and strained at times back when 27" Rog TN was launched so Win 8/8.1 timescale then more recently on the 27" ROG IPS range on Win 10.

24" 1080p IMO is nicer on eyes same PPI as 32" 1440p I believe.

lol I forgot the monitor in OP is 32" not 27" so ignore my 1st part for this monitor 2nd part as you says is correct as the same PPI virtually.

Again i would love it if G-Sync even at higher cost, I doubt I will go 27" 1440p again.

I went from 27" IPS 1440p Gsync 144Hz to a 22" 1080p IPS and dear lord I miss the 27" after a week hence why I'm looking at a bigger replacement.

32" 1440p would be nice to try, possibly MS will get it right in Windows 11 or 12 and scaling will make all things ok looking but by then 27" 1440p will be in the past for me as I hope to be on 4k but again the screen size vs need of scaling comes into it.

Yes, but we've only got 1000 incoming, we've sold just over 100 today on pre-order, if they happen to sell out I won't be getting any more I am afraid, as it is a loss leader from AOC.

Seems like a lot of monitor for the price.

Not sure which scaling issues you guys are referring to - I've been using a BenQ 32" 1440p monitor on Windows 10 for the past 2 years without any noticeable scaling problems. IIRC there were issues with early 4k monitors a few years ago. I used to use a 24" HP 16:10 monitor before and the PPI is really similar; you'll soon get used to the larger 32" screen too. The only downsides for this monitor at first glance (apart from the usual panel lottery) would seem to be limited ergonomics (tilt only) but for £200 you can't really complain. I'm not really sure what the build quality is like on AOC either.

Anyone see any early user reviews from any that slipped out into the wild?

Am currently sitting with an old (full HD)) Panasonic TV connected to PC to get an idea of size, ideally wanted to wall mount as sit quite close.
Just have to lean back on chair - so far Fortnite and Forza H3 look big and good.

I currently have my 27" 1440p now linked up to my sim rig, so wanted something bigger than 1080p on my desk while I wait for next years silly super duper ultra wide HDR 200hz offerings. This should tide me over til then (and depending on how good it is, I may not even bother with a gaming monitor on my desk!)

I'm tempted as I can't find a 27" monitor with the same features for anywhere near this price.

Messing about with the tape measure on my desk suggests it'll be too big for how far away I'm sat though
