Gigabytes x299 gaming 3 won't see my wdc black hdds

Hi,

I have a new Gigabyte Aorus x299 gaming 3 motherboard but it refuses to see my two wd Black 2tb drives in the bios.

I have updated to the F6 bios and reset bios settings (My other adds then got detected) but the hard drives are not showing up.

I have;
2x 1TB NVME drives
3x SSD drives
2x Wd Black HDD

All drives were working fine in my old z97 motherboard.

Any ideas ?.

Ok, for anyone who hits this in the future...

The board has 8 days ports but they share pcie lines with the nvme connections.

Using one nvme drive disables data port 0. Using the second disables data ports 4,5,6 & 7 leaving only 3 data ports remaining.
