One's a 5w30 and one's a 5w40? The 5w40 one isn't approved for Ford engines, whereas the 5w30 one is. I've never owned a Ford, but they always seem to have their own oil approvals and oil companies make a different product for them.

What year/generation is your car?

TLDR - go with the one which is approved for your engine.

Get fully synthetic. There's literally no need to use semi synth oils these days.

You can easily get 5 litres of full synthetic Ford approved oil for around £20.

EDIT: Hell, that fully synth 5litre bottle of Ford approved TripleQX stuff is only £20!

Just ordered a few cans of some Helix full Synth for my servicing 1.8 Dagdag Mondeo, came in at £15 a 5 litre bottle with the sale and discount code.

You need it to be the minimum spec or above for your engine. Never use cheap/crap oils.

Stick with the OEM stuff unless you know what your putting in is the same or better. Engines get tested for millions of miles on that specific blend of oil, so you know it's good.

I don't think there is much point in using anything other than synthetic now. Synthetic has just become better all round.
