Yeah I'm happy, I just wish I could get the GPU now as well. I haven't upgraded the guts in so long so I'm looking forward to the boost. CPU and Memory seem to make a huge difference in PUBG which is what I mainly play, so even without the GPU upgrade I'm expecting some nice gains.

GPU prices are still going nuts, such a toss up on whether to try to get one now in case they go up more, or just ride it out.

I'm doing sort of the same as you, and still using a 970 although I'd love to upgrade it
