I felt it in south manchester (stockport).

Thought it was just another HGV going over the pot hole outside, but was a slower rumble and I have a fish tank I can watch for water ripples and it definitely made the place shake steadily for about 10 seconds...

Didn't feel a thing at home near Thirsk (West of Thirsk so fairly close to Ripon!)

Lol that would be funny, the village would be up in arms yet again!! Have they discovered if that was an insurance jobby yet? There were all sorts of rumours flying round afterwards. (I presume you're on about the Tockwith incinerator...if not, ignore!)

Yet.
Current house doesn't usually shake,unlike old house by a railway and bus route.

Edit earthquake site has now crashed due to load.

Our roof rattled with what I thought was a big gust of wind but when I looked out of the window there was only a gentle breeze.

Didn't feel anything though.
