Unfortunately instead of their excellent bitumen+foam combination damping mat BeQuiet cases use light cosmetic foam...
Which is unable to absorpt/prevent vibrations of panels and barely increases acoustic opacity...
While absorpting any but highest frequency sound waves would need big thickness of light foam.
Even without extra foam bitumen mass damping layer alone would do at least as good in decreasing "airborne" noise:

Antec has used special layered contruction side panels to prevent vibrations and increase acoustic opacity.

So despite of nice design BeQuiet's Dark Base and Silent Base can't muffle noise of components/fans as much as they could, compared to lining with proper damping materials.
Though they would certainly be in list if I had to now choose new case.

Am in the same issue. I want a quiet case with space
For more spacious case than usual Antec P280 would be one strong contender I would consider myself.

Effective prevention of vibration of bigger panels and no direct noise escape paths towards user is lot important than if fan size is 120mm or 140mm.
Also thanks to panel construction weight is very reasonable for size. (4kg less than Dark Base 900)

If ready/willing to do some work in mass damping aluminum cases like Lian Li PC-A76X can be contenders.

While side panesl are actually little thicker than usual low density/light weight of aluminum makes them conduct vibrations and rattle like any thin metal metal.
But even with mass damping case will be many kilograms lighter than same size steel case...
Which would be acoustically way worser before adding even more weight from mass damping.
I have myself nearly decade old older case of same serie PC-A71B.
And with that BeQuiet mat side panels make sound like of 1+cm plywood instead of sheet metal when tapping with finger.
