Wondering if there's a way to see the eshop on a web browser to check these deals out! I find a few pages but not the whole eshop.

Yeah it's here https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Ni...ndo-Switch-Nintendo-3DS-and-Wii-U-109605.html

and you can easily find games that are on sale using the Search page here https://www.nintendo.co.uk/games/nintendo_switch_3/nintendo_switch_searchredirect.html

If you purchase a game via the site it will automatically start downloading on you console, that's been a thing since 3DS/Wii U.

Ahh ok I was at the correct site then, just seems to be a bit limited in How it's laid out but the second link you provided at least shows all the games available so that's sort of what I was after

Thanks!

I'm going to Portugal soon so will need 4-5 hours of gameplay. Am I right in thinking this powerbank is pretty much the best I can get in terms of it iwll charge whils't I'm still playing? I'm aware I can get cheaper which will charge it when sleeping but that defeats the point.

The second one is actually about 15 cheaper but seems same spec. Oh it seems there are dimension restrictions for hand luggage, need to rethink.

Any 2.1 amp battery pack will charge the switch while playing.

That one will work perfectly but it's overkill if you would prefer to spend less.

Interesting, I'm getting conflicting info, some places are stating I MUSt have a USB C PD charger to charge while playing. In reality I just won't want it to lose charge when playing.

I see it doesn't have the PD charging but I'm beginning to wonder if that's even needed. Granted I'd rather save money and not buy something overkill!

Edit: Is PD just to charge the bank itself faster?

I have no idea what PD charging is, but I have two battery packs that have bog standard USB 2.1 amp ports and both charge the switch while playing.

The switch uses 8.9 Watts maximum when in handheld mode (https://www.anandtech.com/show/11181/a-look-at-nintendo-switch-power-consumption/2) which leaves you with 1.6 Watts spare to charge the battery if you are playing an intense game with maximum brightness online.

I don't know about PD charging, but the one I linked is sufficient to play and keep it charged :)

Thanks guys, think you've saved me some money here :)

Anyone seen any decent offers at the moment? Looking for a switch with 2 games but under £300. Still a bit of an ask?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NINTENDO...249884626?clk_rvr_id=1473634515115&rmvSB=true (Grey - new but box slightly damaged usual warranty)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NINTENDO...832086?hash=item362dfda716:g:exwAAOSwpzVasOyI (Neon- new but box slightly damaged usual warranty)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NINTENDO...497079?hash=item56aae7ac37:g:WToAAOSwki1aokxn (exdisplay 3 months warranty)

Then grab a couple games off the bay as well.
