Budget for mobo is £150. I don't care bout how it looks or LED lights etc.

I also need a CPU cooler that will do a basic job, be easy to fit and not massive. Want to be able to access RAM slots easy.

I wont be doing crazy Overclocking, i will enable XMP for RAM (if i can manage that) and that is really it. I will be gaming, basic video editing (Uploading game clips etc) and general use.

It will be:
i7- 8700k
ddr4 16gb 3200hmz
1 x SSD 500gb
1 x HDD 1TB
Wont SLI so it will be whatever replaces the 1080ti/gtx

So my question is

Best priced/ performance/ features under £150. Is audio codec ALC1220 much better?
Budget CPU cooler that will do a basic job, easy to install and is slim?

The Asrok Extreme 4 seems to be best but read about XMP issues with Bios updates. Any better performer price wise?

Cheers guys.

Gigabyte Ultra gets a lot of love, not so much for hot VRM is your doing editing or rendering though , but gaming is fine. What wins it over for people is the rep on here and RMA .

That or Strix
