How do I know how much life my SSD has left?

I have heard there is a way of finding out how much life SSDs have left?

Depending on the SSD you have, you can download their software to find out information about your drive.

Otherwise, there's crystal disk info for stats on all of your drives and crystal disk mark for benchmarking them.

You can get that from the SMART data. There's usually a tuple called something like "Life Percentage". For example, AIDA64 will be able to tell that for most SSDs.

SSD Life is all I use. They have a free version of the program and a paid for version as well.

My ssd failed whilst having 100% health and 3+ years life remaining according to SSD life. So its practically useless in reality.

Always back up but there is not really a definate way some software can give you an idea as mentioned

You can also hit 0% health and still have a fully functioning, albeit old and well used, drive.
