Keep 10 year old old Corsair HX520? Or take new EVGA 650W G2?

So I've built a new PC for my gf, and ordered her an EVGA 650W g2. It just struck me that I've had my Corsair HX520 for 10 years now with absolutely no problem. Should I keep the new EVGA one and give her the Corsair?

AT first it seemed like a no brainer, but a few things have been on my mind...
  • The fact that my current PSU has given me no trouble
  • I've read some things on EVGA regarding "Hold-up time" issues
  • Personal attachment :(
So what would you guys do?

Yeah it's stuff like that I was thinking about. I mean, it has been part of about 3 systems now, with this latest build for about a year. It just seems settled and happy now though xD

Corsair PSUs are for life and the way components are becoming more power efficient and SLI/Crossfire is essentially no more - the hx520w should be plenty good enough for a while.
