I'll be receiving a Dell optiplex 9010 minitower next weekend.
This case is identical to the dell optiplex 790 all the way up to the optiplex 9020. It currently has two fans - CPU and exhaust, which use dell properietary fan connectors and motherboard sensors to control it's RPM.
I'm planning to replace the PSU with my old CX430 v2 and put in a GTX460.
It seems complicated to mess around with the existing fan connectors, but I plan to connect an unused corsair fan with my spare noctua fan resistor and adaptors to connect an intake fan. I see there are holes in the front grill of the fan, but has anyone successfully screwed one in?
