Microsoft office 2016 pro

i bought this in 2016 when it first came out,
I had it on my laptop and my desktop but over the last couple years I’ve uninstalled it and installed in on a few other devices that I’ve had.
Today I tried to install it on my new laptop and when i typed in the key it says I cannot use it anymore the key has been redeemed as much times as it can. Ie tried the telephone service and got the same answer.
Surely if you have bought it then the key is yours to use freely?
I don have it installed anywhere else and now I don’t have it al all it looks like.
It says I have to buy another copy an redeem the new key

That's pretty terrible tbh.

Legit MS Office 2016 OEM keys sell for about £4 on eBay (if you need to buy another).

Yeah I know I would understand if there was a device limit like 2-3 devices but now I don’t have it on any device. Good shout I’ll go have a look and see, looking like it’s a new one, unless anyone knows a way around it :confused:

I would ring them up, tell them it is a reinstall after a PC crash and they may activate it.

Thats a volume licence or home use program version isn't it?

I bought it from the Microsoft HUP website.
