New laptop for £300-400

I have £400, I will be using it for student stuff mainly and portability. If it can run older games on low settings that is also a plus but its not a must. Just need something efficient and good for the money spent.

But I have no idea what I am looking at or for, and if said laptop is reputable or not. It is also a refurb and never sure if thats trustworthy or not.

And £400 for 4 generations old I5 seems too strong money.

yes, good laptops but thats pricey for 4th gen. should be £300 ish. check out the HP renew stuff, like new and a fraction of the price generally.
