Hard Drive recommendation for gaming/video editing

Was looking for a 4TB hard drive for gaming and maybe video editing I see huge difference in prices.

Mainly looking for performance and relialablity over pure cost

Seen that there's also a 4TB barracuda for half the price the speed is 5900 compared to 7200 am I really going to notice?

a lot of people saying avoid barracuda seagate from what I've been reading

SSHD are a tradiational HDD with some cache on there that's supposed to learn what you use more and load things into that, similar to prefetch.
Ment ssd not sad just autocorrect on mobile haha

Just don't know if I Wana drop 160-180 for a 4tb hdd when can get a 4tb for 90 but it's a green seagate

In the opening post you mentioned video editing. If that's a serious requirement then you aren't going to want a 'green' drive.

If you're just storing media then it isn't going to matter too much.

Also look at the warranty length - it shows how sure the manufacturers are of their product.

WD Black drives come with 5 years warranty, others are 2-3 years.
