and a diety with attitude.

Except that Genesis is uncannily close to what we now believe actually happened.

It is sort of the story I might expect if our modern cosmology was handed down verbally for a several thousand years by non-scientific people and then eventually written down.

Part of the original hostility to the "Big Bang" theory was that it was a bit too Biblical for comfort...
