What are the "cleaning" additives? Because I can never find any information on it, only marketing nonsense. AFAIK all fuel has to have cleaning additives as standard as part of emissions controls.
There are services aling the A40, at St Clares and Narbeth I think. Pretty sure these will have Super Unleaded available. Haverfordwest would probably have some too as that's a big town for West Wales
Just having been in newquay for 10 days, I had to brim with 95 (knowing that I'd fill up again on the motorway). I figured it wouldn't be getting much abuse on the motorway so it would be fine.
I made the mistake once putting 95 in my car during a track day as there was no premium available nearby and it didn't like it at all. Kept fuel cutting and was horrible to drive. My Saab 9-5 specifies 98 Ron and feels a lot better on it. Even my Ignis Sport specifies 98 Ron but it has 11:1 compression ratio with its little 1490cc engine.
