Headphones or earbuds for work

So after my recent eye opener into the world of open backed headphones I'm now considering picking something up to use in the office. I spend a few hours a day in total Infront of my laptop chugging away and using some cheapo skull candy earbuds to listen to music via YouTube, so I'd like something bit too expensive £30-£40 that I can run via the laptop and get some decent quality from, current ones I've realised are very bassy.

So what do other like to use in work, earbuds vs headphones and any recommendations

Fidue A73 are still on sale at £49.99, which is £50 less than their normal price.
They have powerful but not boomy bass, rich and smooth mids and detailed yet not sibilant highs.

VE Monk Plus earbuds - about £9!! Couldn't believe how good these were when I read about them online but thought I'd give them a go as a throw away pair. They won't please bassheads but if you like the neutral sound of something like the AKG K702 then these are simply stunning value for money.
