So my HAF x has served me well for almost a decade but I'm planning to put it to rest when i buy a new CPU, mobo and ram in the near future.

So as you can expect with me being a haf x user, my main concern is air flow and cooling. My budget is around £200 (although I don't expect to have to pay this much) and the case must be able to fit my H105.

Would you recommend this lian-li air edition?

Do you think it's worth me having the 5 fans at the front? Also with my h105 at the top of the case would it be worth installing an 80mm fan at the back for an exhaust?

I'll be removing the dust filter and I've heard it hampers air flow a lot

Depends on your tastes , seems the air, best thing to do is replace the stock air filter ! Haha

Have current Dynamic and find cooling just fine, but again, changed the bottom .filter for generic demciflex 360 one

I feel the Lian li Dynamic is good for a watercooled cpu and gpu system. Air edition will be be good for air/water cooled cpu but air cooled gpu.

Hmm I think I may go with the air one as with my haf x I'm used to great air flow especially on my GPU. So here will be my setup and please tell me if you think I will have great cooling

1) So all 5 stock fans at the front + dust filter removed (I'll probably lower the rpm to like 1000 so I match gamer nexus dba)

2) EVGA 1080 ti sc2 blowing air up the case

3) h105 at the top of the case pushing air out

Do you think it might be worth installing an 80mm fan at the back of the case as another exhaust?

Also is there's enough space at the top of the case to have my h105 in a push pull config? I have 3 sp120s so i'll just need to buy a 4th if i deem it worthy

Get the ftw 3 version if your going EVGA, Google issues with that dual slot, dual fan evga 1080ti and you'll see a lot of heat issues . Its a hot chip !

Owner of Lian Li case used filterstone 120mm fan filters when mounting the fans to the case instead of stock :)

I already got the sc2. tbh I went with EVGA so i could use their step up system to the 1180/2080 so it's kind of temporary if rumors are true.

Do you think since I'm getting the air edition I should install the 3 rgb fans at the bottom of the case blowing up into the GPU since I already have 2 120mm fans blowing air into the case at the front?
