He was the lead for Destiny 2.....

As soon as the **** show started he basically ducked away and left everything to the live team to fix.

Whilst there may have been an internal shuffle which meant there was a 100% legitimate reason for his going quiet, it looked from the outside that he had just wiped his hands of the game (rather than get stuck in and fix the mess he left).

Forsaken does look like a return to form bringing back a lot of stuff from D1 and more importantly bringing with it the "mystic" and darker themes. Having to play 10 adventures for the purple Armour it reminded just poor D2 can be thematically (everything is a joke).

I think you may be missing the point of my post.

Luke was the lead developer on Vault of Glass and game director for The Taken King, two of the most well received pieces of content release for D1.. the guy is a long term Bungie employee from back when Halo 3 was released and has been involved in quite a few successful releases.

It pains me to see the community tar this guy with a brush following D2 which had massive development issues which were not resolved prior to release, this was more likely to be a pressure for release by Activision rather than the lack of passion on his part to fix the game.

Just cleaned out 200 items from my bank. Around 95% of every good weapon will be easily upgraded.

Only two real weapons that will be hard to upgrade will be the midnight coup and the inaugural address. Outlaw with rampage or killclip is god roll. I love both weapons so am happy about that since they are not getting the new upgrades.

Can anyone think of any other weapons?

*sigh*

no matter what I do I cant get the 5 wins to get the purple SoH armour, can anyone help me out? on xbox one with same tag :(

Should be on most of the weekend

Managed to get all 5 of them in Iron Banana even while matchmaking solo it took 8 or 9 games. Just remember "Team Shooting" is too OP in this game. 9/10 gunfights with a 2 v 1 situation - the pair will win. So group up and follow others which you don't even need a mic for.

All over the world...
Yep came in at just over 34gb the update. Managed to get some time in to play it a bit and have to say it’s not bad.

Was running around using 2 sub machine guns in my primary and secondary slot then changed over to running 2 shottys.

Quite fun but all your exotic weapons are now back to 380 rather than 385 as the new mod system will take effect next week.

Gambit mode will be available this Saturday for one day so looking forward to giving that a bash.

Milestones this week aren’t really milestones like they were in destiny 2 yr 1.

Looking forward to playing forsaken next week, that’s if M$ ever decide to charge my card lol. They tried last week but was rejected due to my bank putting a hold on the card for some weird reason. Called them last night and they said they will re try later this week.

Looks like a nice comprehensive update. It almost feels like someone locked the Bungie devs in a room and told they to play D1 until they understand what they ****** up and then charged them with implementing the changes within the D2 sandbox.

Will be ordering up Forsaken this week in time for the 4th (one copy shared between myself and the Mrs).

EDIT: Can't wait for my Youtube feed to be filled "Here's your boy with a 25 minute exclusive low down on the D2 changes".
