Hey guys, quick question, I am modding a laptop into a custom case. The HDD is connected to the motherboard via this card reader, but at the wrong angle for my needs.

If you look in the top of the picture there is a male 12 pin connector which attaches straight to the motherboard. I am hoping someone can tell me what kind of cable I need to connect the two (so a male and female end) so that I can change the angle they join at?
Or, better yet, could someone tell me if it's possible to bypass this card alltogether? Is there a way to connect the HDD straight to the same 12 pin female connector on the motherboard? TIA
