Xbox one X vs the PC

Hey guys first off I’m not building or planing to build this I’m just really curious about where the market stands at the moment in terms of console vs pc

Looking at it the Xbox one is is the fastest console and I can find it new with a game for £400.

What sort of pc could be built for that with these parameters:

-Needs a keyboard and mouse
-Doesn’t necessarily need a screen as a tv could technically be used.
-Doesn’t need windows as joe bloggs is a filthy pirate.

Is it possible today to build an on par/better system for the same/near enough cost.

So the point of the thread is to provoke fanboys from either camp?

Personally I'd rather have a £400 (of which a used office machine with a graphics card upgrade as above is probably the most cost effective) PC with the thousands of cheaply available games than an Xbox with a much smaller back catalogue of more expensive games.

You aint gonna get no where near the performance of an xbox one with a full pc build minus the monitor for £400. your buget will have to be around the area of £700 for new
