Worth upgrading or not?

Hi All,

i bought my current power supply back in 2011 its an XFX 750W Black Edition Modular Power Supply

never had any issues with it and its still going strong.

Im hoping to upgrade to the latest nvidia graphics cards when they are released and im wondering whether i will need to upgrade my psu at the same time?

any thoughts?

As long as you are using a single cpu and a single GFX card that PSU should be well up to the task. That was quite a high end PSU when it came out iirc so should stand the test of time better than cheaper models. The new GFX cards appear to require a slight increase in (approx 10%+) power. I would skip this gen of turing, or at least wait till after xmas when I hope they will drop in price ...
