Radical Feminist and SJW's incessant cultural Marxism could create havoc on internet infastructure.

Has anyone genuinely met a radical feminist in day to day life ? or a die hard SJW (not someone who just believes in the concept of social justice) ? or someone who identifies as a marxist ?

Im pretty left leaning and close to my 40's and I've never come across any of them in my entire life despite mostly socialising with liberals... and yet little dweebs on the internet are telling everyone they are taking over the world, whats that about ?
My friends partner is a very firm feminist (probably wouldn't call her radical though). Hates Trump, loathes Brexiteers, wants quotas imposed on companies for women and minority roles, very pro 'positive' (racist) discrimination. It's comedy gold because he's completely the opposite and they are always arguing over issues. He voted Brexit. How they ever met and had kids just bemuses me :D

Yes, I know a some, perhaps they're more commonly found in London. In fact a couple of times when some viral story related to feminism/SJWs etc.. has blown up I've noticed that I've had friends in common on Facebook with the subject of the story.

I think there certainly can be a real world negative effect of people trying to constantly push these identity politics/victimhood arguments, amusingly both the alt right and SJWs seem obsessed with identity politics. It is hardly just right wing people criticising it either, look at say youtube personality Jonathan Pie, left wing Corbyn supporter but he seems to absolutely hate identity politics/SJW culture and he's made some pretty decent videos tearing it apart and criticising the real world examples where it has had an effect. To just dismiss critics of it as little dweebs in the internet is rather naive.

There is a big market now for online media companies to cash in on it too - and indeed prominent celebs with a big internet following, if anyone follows George Takei on Facebook for example then you'll see that most of his content plays on identity politics and the comments section is full of the sort of responses you'd expect - people have been quick to adopt things like "mansplaining", people are happy to accept that almost any situation where someone who happens to be white is having an argument with someone who happens to be black involves racism. If a woman writes an opinion piece berating men then men should shut up and listen, any criticism is "mansplaining" as every SJW now accepts etc...

things like this article get shared on Facebook and applauded by both men and women - granted if you look at the comments section it did thankfully get some pushback

Some of it is common sense/politeness other bits not so much including such gems as:

"If a woman tells you you ****ed up, and you feel like ****, don't put it on that woman to make you feel better. Apologize without qualification and then go away"

so regardless of whether there is any merit to it you must apologise because you're male

"Don’t read a list like this and think that most of these don’t apply to you."

lol, erm ok...

Even if you're generally a good person just accept that because you're male and a woman has spoken you must listen to everything she has said and repent.

I think most people don't care one way or another.

I think there is a big media bubble that as sucked in a minority of people on both the left and right that argue between themselves. Most regular people don't give a toss for any political stuff.

I also think identity politics is for the intellectually lazy who don't support any particular cause but at the very basic level they can identify as a gender, race etc. It's all reactionary that is 100% negative.

I am a Corbyn supporter but don't agree with hard core Feminism, some woman I have a few friends in common with me had a go at me for commenting on a status on FB. Apparently it was a womens discussion for womens problems and men should be mentioned or get involved. Sexist.

It's The Guardian. It's exactly what you'd expect from The Guardian. It really isn't worth any of our time.

What gets me slightly* annoyed is when some person is cast for a role, and 5000 twits seem to know better than anyone else why this is racist, sexist, homophobic etc. and demand that this is changed.

FFS they are 'actors'.

* I say slightly as I am not going to stress myself out over this minor aberration in my day.

Well they did have a go at JK Rowling for allowing her to have them cast an Asian in the role of the snake woman, until she mentioned it was related to the Naga, from Indonesia, a legend of a snake woman....

Tiss a load of ********. Unfortunately actors may not get the chance to act outside of their own racial/cultural grouping in the future, which should make it interesting for castings in war films :p

That article is hilarious in its borderline multiple personality disorder.

It's almost as if the author scraped together a list of points by wildly differnt original authors.

From rabid borderline bitch levels of "dont expect a thank you for doing the right thing" to full on princess complex "involve women in your creative projects and then give them equal parts" where women need to be given free **** because vajayjay

A few years ago on a work night out one of the girls at work got absolutely hammered and was basically passed out, me and my boss decided to help her get home and basically had to carry her. An obvious feminist stopped in the street and straight up accused us of being rapists who were taking her somewhere to have our way with her. Even after explaining what was happening she wouldn't let it go and kept at us and started shouting to call the police, so we obviously said yes please do so they can help us and get you away from us.

So did this feminist call the police or did she let you and your male conspirator gang rape this poor woman?

I've noticed these types love to shout for somone to *Do something* but rarely ever do something themselves

Snake woman!?

Yes Nagini, it was revealed midweek, that Voldermorts 'snake' and his final horcrux, was actually a woman, cursed in her blood line from mother to daughter, to be aforced shapeshifter, and that shifted into the form of snake.

I think they were having a pop at her for forcing such a role upon an Asian, and yapping at her for not having enough diversity in the original film set (books).
Turns out she has been sitting on this spoiler for 20 years, after creating the character from reading an Indonesia spoken word tradition.

It’s quite selective though, when the stage production cast Hermionie as a black woman she was applauded.

I don't think you have to be a feminist to intervene there, it looks extremely dodgy and I'm glad someone would intervene on the off chance it is something malicious.

If you know you're innocent just carry on and let them say/do what they want.

because sjw and the like need to have a moan about something. and the sad thing is a good chunk of the media seems eager to fall over themselves to give some of the more idiotic ones a platform to rant about whatever has upset them over their morning skinny latte.

people try to ignore this though and pretend that SJWs are just a few idiots on twitter, Tumblr etc... that have no real impact... and then you get stories like the Netflix exec getting sacked because he used an offensive word in a meeting about offensive content, or uproar because Scarlett Johansson was due to play a trans person in a film... end result being a bit of a own goal as the film seems to have been scrapped.
