Nice one, was the Goliath showing up in the list alright? I did have a 1 lap blueprint shared, but after i ran a 3 lap race, it replaced the Blueprint. I guess you can only have one saved blueprint for each event.

The 3 lap Goliath levels up Road Racing quickly, when i first did it i went from level 12.5 to 16.5 in 3 laps

I can't recall if the Goliath one was showing at the time, the interfaces at times are terrible. When I first checked it would only show me a Drag Race (which I did) and after that it showed the rest that you had uploaded. I'll check tonight but I ended up doing the 15 lap race that goes around Arthurs Seat. I'll look tonight and give it a go though. I've only just completed all the standard Road Racing up to the point of the Colossus so need to bump my level up. Think I'm at about 12/13 on that series.

I love the Forza live events in this, something about everyone all trying to hit a target all at once with cars flying everywhere that is great fun

When you get a super wheelspin and the rewards are a horn, shoes and £2,000 though

I got a super wheelspin on Sunday and got two shirts and a pair of trousers......that really annoyed me I can tell you......mind you even FH3 was bad winning a really hard race , advertising that you could win a Ferrari or something and getting 5000 credits or something, quite often its like - why do I bother lol

I hate the barn finds, find them so frustrating - forgot about the drone on the 1st barn, so will have to use that on the next one.....while completely trashing a Porsche 959 on some mountains

FH4 also appears to be a lot nastier on the danger / jumps - FH3 in unsuitable cars you got 20-30 metres away from 3 star distances.....now it seems to be about 5 metres which is really infuriating (even allowing for angle of take off etc) ..and bumps right in the middle of the run up grrrrr

Are the blueprints on a limited time thing? I followed Spaceman above on Mon and used his blueprints, I went back today to try and I couldn't see anything at all but I did favourite one and it could see it.

Also when I joined a blueprint race last night it would 'disable' my controller... none of the buttons except the home button would work. Pressing that brought the dashboard up and the pause menu where by controller would work but closing it and none of the buttons would do anything even the sticks. Have any of you had this? The normal races were fine it was just blueprints it was doing this to.

I think the servers might have been playing up lastnight. I needed to take part in 1 more hourly Forzathon for the 'get points in 20 achievement' and it didn't give it to me after taking part in 3 different ones. It also didn't give me another achievement for beating a seasonal PR event target.

I think you should always be able to see the Blueprints of friends/followers, but i did have the same thing on Sunday. The top all time rated blueprint was 3 laps of the goliath, it was called something like '300k cr 80k influence'. I raced it once (before i unlocked the goliath), when i went back to race it again, it had disappeared. So i ended up doing my 15 lap race twice to get to level 20.

I've got 4 blueprints shared at the moment:-

- 3 laps of goliath
- 15 laps of the circuit around the hill (my favourite short circuit)
- a drag race i'll overwrite at some point (cant find a way to delete it)
- a gauntlet race (to overwrite/delete)

Ah right, cheers! I'll give it another go tonight. It was the 15 lap race I was trying to do when it kept cutting the controller out. Will hopefully do the Goliath one tonight too. Don't know why I'm trying to fly through the ranks so quickly, I've not even started doing any of the dirt/rally races or finished the businesses yet.

The showcases with the train has really annoyed me.

I was a bit crap the first time and got 3:26 with the train hitting 3:22.

So went again. Managed to get 3:22, only for the train to get 3:20.

Then got a 3:18 only for the train to get 3:17

Then finally managed to win with a 3:12, but the train still got 3:12 and it was a pretty much photo finish.

Wtf is the point of having a race like that only for the game to change the opponent so much on the same settings!

Feel lucky, that's all I can say

I came across the train yesterday and got a 3.11.7 ish and the train beat me by about 3 tenths (and baring in mind I had already seen your post so that annoyed me no end) but ok will go again
2nd attempt and I made a big mistake and still came in around 3.12 and the train was way ahead
3rd attempt super smooth and managed 3.06 but train still beat me by under 2 tenths

Given the level this is at within the game surely all winning times should be approx. the same (especially on the showcases I would have thought - for any given difficulty level)

The other strange thing I noticed is that I readily accepted an increase in difficulty as " you appear to be winning easily do you want to go up a difficulty level" - and a one off increase in FH3 didn't really change very much for me, you could tell it was a little more difficult but wasn't impossible......on FH4 this single change has gone from wins (on multiple occasions / tracks and cars) to barely able to finish 6th!!!

Yeah i think the time should be the time for that difficulty level, or at least in a similar ballpark. Not have a span of 10 seconds!

Hell i'm only on "Above Average" so there are plenty ways to make it harder for me without moving the goalposts within the level.

How the hell are people managing to get FE cars on wheelspins are they just using the vip super glitch I have so many legendary horns that I would rather were cars oh and a bloomin crown. I also find it annoying that the perks do not reset on the cars in the auction house, i would also like to put my legendary horns up for sale as well as cars. Too much yammering by the djs and too few songs.

Other than that I am enjoying a lot. Role on winter.

After a really **** day (see the Motors/Bikers thread if interested) I consoled myself that my lovely new FH4 would be ready to play, after I left it downloading over night - but no! It seems that my console went to sleep and had a tick in the option to turn off storage in sleep Suffice to say, a fair few choice words left my mouth, and I had to leave it to finish the last 66%.

Hopefully, I'll be playing it tonight though!

If it's any consolation I had to re-download my game last night as well. It started downloading the latest update when I was about to play something else, so I cancelled it...which then uninstalled the entire game without warning, for some stupid reason. Great.

Anyone had any problems unlocking all the perks on a car? I have the Horizon Edition Aventador FE and the top right perk, which I haven't unlocked won't let me scroll to it :/

So I'm basically stuck on 15/16 perks.

Anyway, it's head and shoulders above FH3 for me, so looking forward to ploughing some hours into this beast.

The wheelspins are utter crap. I narrowly missed out on a McLaren Senna by a few pixels on the notch. I got a dance move instead. And then the other day when I got a super wheelspin, I ended up with a dance move, a car horn, and some stupid pink shoes. What a load of rubbish.
