That thing is huge! Triple slot?
Yeah, first triple slot cooler I've had since the HD6950 ASUS DirectCu II. This thing is a beast, super quiet (even when the fans are actually on).

Super pleased with it, though I'll probably be even more pleased when the new Borderlands/Metro games arrive as right now I've paid a £170 premium over a 1080ti just to get a cooler I like haha (seriously though this cooler is super sexy, def the coolest I've seen in years).

When the 20 series was announced I swore off ever buying one, mostly on the issue of price.

I wanted an upgrade from my 1070 and was looking at the 1080Ti, didn't want to go second hand and given the prices of those new, it wasn't much more of a stretch to get a 2080, which appears to be slightly faster and hopefully a bit more future proof. I'll be actually amazed if we get worthwhile ray tracing this generation, but DLSS appears promising.

First time buying a founder's edition. Very impressed with the build quality and the card appears quiet enough under load, haven't tried overclocking yet so no idea how well my card will do. Shame the logo isn't RGB and that the fans don't ever shut off, but for the saving over the EVGA XC Ultra I was looking at I'll live.

For anyone wondering:

Nothing amazing but left mining overnight and while I'm at work the card will easily pay for itself during my ownership, so another free upgrade, can't complain.

No, the miners are taking over! :D
Won't be mining myself but I see you're using NH, what's the estimate per day at the moment for the 2080 based on those stats?

Like 50p a day for the card alone lol. In case anyone has any ideas do not buy one of these to try and make money it's a really bad idea :p

I just leave my machine mining overnight so it makes money and I don't have to buy gas to heat the house win/win :)

A 120mm rad was already pushing it for installation options in a lot of people's cases, i don't see a 240mm rad version selling particularly well.

I think the people plashing £1600-800 will have the case or cash to afford a case to house it ... If not, might need to re-evaluate their thinking haha

It's nuts they've went for a 240mm rad, even the 295x2 got by on a thicker 120mm rad and that was cooling 2 gpu's. Msi seahawk is using a 120mm aio as well, evga have teased pics of their card but not the rad so should be interesting to see what they're going with.

All about who can p*** the furthest and have the biggest stick in the woods.
Bigger rad, more clock speed on back (over 60% of owners don't overclock cards of any price bracket ) .
Western markets a lot more sensitive to noise , eastern just want the fastest

Hope their not using coolermaster pump again though ....
