Still trying to get my head round the fan controller connections...

1. A standard Molex connector coming out of the black box.

2. A twin wire with a connector marked 'Power LED' also coming out of the box.

3. Box indicates the Power LED cable is 12V

4. Random wire that came with the case

It would be so nice to have some instructions; I have found these for a similar unit but it is wired differently. https://fccid.io/2ANYX-BORA120R/User-Manual/Users-Manual-3658203

Questions therefore;

How do I connect the black box? I assume the Molex is direct to the PSU
What is the Power LED for?
And the random cable?
Will I be able to have the PC on standby without the fans and LEDs running if power is direct from the PSU?

I heard there was a guru by the name of https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/members/202888/who might help?

Thanks

Right - made some progress so here are the facts as I have found them finishing the install:

1. Power is controlled by Molex so all fine there other than having to set it up
2. Twin wire marked Power LED is actually an RBG connector. You have to connect it to the case RGB lead, which confusingly is marked as RESET SWITCH
3. No idea what the random cable does but I did not use it

The random cable almost looks like a thermistor. Is there anything that's supposed to be temperature controlled?

Is it the IR receiver for the remote control?

OP, can you explain how you connected every cable to the rgb controller? I think I did everything right but the fans rgb just goes on and off but the fans itself keeps spinning. The fans doesn't respond when pressing on the remote.

Hi - the fans are connected to the controller box (slots 1-4)- the motherboard RGB does not control the unit at all, it is only via the box. We connected the Power LED to the RGB cable on the front case (just follow the wire coming out of the switch, in our case it was marked 'Reset'). The IR cable can be used to poke put the front - we did not have to use that.

These are the photos I have from the build -

1. Controller box - plug front fans into 1-2-3 and rear into 4 (1 and 4 change in synch)

2. Molex connector - power supply for the fans - plug into Molex from PSU (DC12V)

3. RGB selector (mine labelled as Power LED) - plug into case from RGB button

I did not use the extension IR cable but there is a spar connection on the controller box if you need to

Reviving thread to give my own experiences which hopefully help others if they install this.

1) On the Kolink Levante the RGB wire is incorrectly labelled as 'Reset SW'. On the controller itself the RGB controller is marked 'Power LED'. These two must be connected together (look for a little arrow on each and connect the two pins with the small arrows and the two pins without arrows to get the right polarity).

2) The RGB will still only work if you connect the fans to the fan controller int he right order. E.g. if you connect four fans then you must use connections 1 to 4 otherwise the fans will spin but the RGB won't light up. If you connect the wrong way from 6 to 4 then it won't work.
