Finished and it was good all the way through, probably didn't need as much time spent on backstory for Karen as we sort of knew about it anyway and Fisk was great as always, always cracks me up that the guy who played the bug in MIB plays this role so well, brutal throughout and again DD shows what fight scenes should be like in shows instead of what we get with CW shows and Iron Fist.

The last episode felt like it was the end of the show not season with the last 10 minutes, I don't mind waiting again for next season as we had to if they keep this up and it doesn't drop off now they've started with cancelling the other Marvel shows.

Thought it was the best season overall. A little slow to start but the overall pacing was much better than the first 2, 2 especially, the Punisher storyline was great but then all the ninjas got a bit boring.

Great to see Fisk back in a large role and thought Poindexter was really well done. Plus Foggy and Karen had a lot more to do with the main plot as opposed to general 'side quests' from the first couple.

Just finished it.

Another good season. Further reinforces the idea that a good hero story needs a strong villain though. This season had more Fisk than Daredevil, and works well as a result.

Roll on Season 4 :D

Despite the slow start another good season of Daredevil, still one of the best things with the Marvel brand on it.

Just finished season 3, absolutely loved it. One of the best series on tv; great acting, music, fight choreography...all of it was so so good. I sat down to watch a episode at ~5pm and now its 11.30.

The balance of characters (as Richeh said) was much better and formed a more involved story. The Karen episode, while a bit of a tangent in the middle of the climax, was fantastic (thats the best acting shes done in the whole series I think). You could really feel the despair when SA Nadeem went and they had no plan; I was kind of hoping for a Punisher cameo to fight Bullseye for a bit. Matt and Foggy were great and so was Fisk. I want more but id be happy if they didn't, that was a great sign-off and wraps it up nicely.

It was a decent season for DD, imo fisk and bullseye were the stars of this season without them it would have felt bleak.

The season did drag on however, still amazed they spent so long with dd recovering from his injuries what happen to his yoga meditation training to heal his wounds faster ? It did not help he would get beaten down every episode and then half way through the episode recover and fight in 1 meter wide corridors again.

I can see why marvel do not like what netflix is doing with their marvel brand names and they are at odds at which way they should be presented.

Imo disney/marvel should move all the shows or pick the best of the best characters from AoS, netflix shows etc and house it under its roof and produce it with the avengers distinction under the disney streaming service.

I'm 4 episodes in and I'm bored to tears with it. Why have they made it so drawn out?! Can't wait for it to all kick off again, if it does for that matter.

Finished it last night and thought it was really good. As people have said before, there were some slow bits but overall really enjoyed it.
Fisk and Poindexter were both done really well

I finished this last night and wow... what a thrilling Season!. Yes, it does suffer from some bloat (like all Marvel seasons) but overall the depth and character development was imo by far the strongest of any Marvel series yet. Extremely strong cast for the most part, with Agent Nadeem and his 'cartoony sad face' being among the weakest elements.

It also annoys me that Daredevil is STILL a god damn pussy who gets his ass kicked on a regular basis and seems nowhere near as tough as he is in the comic books. Kind of a "Daredevil Lite", although I am guessing the producers just want to make his more relatable and not overpowered and invincible-seeming. However imo they went a little too far.

Anyway, overall a great, great season although I would still say that Jessica Jones Season 1 was my favourite season of any Marvel series so far. :)

Some of the things I had problems with:
Fisk goes into witness protection, so lets tell the world where he is and house him in a public building where people go in and out every day.The only reason that was there was so Karen could find a link back to Fisk.

He bought the hotel (however much of an odd choice it indeed is on the surface), and I would say that he wanted people to know where he was. It was all part of his plan, enabled by corrupt feds

The prison scene, guards are trying to kill him, then some decide to, duing a lockdown, let him out unescorted through an unlocked gate to go where he pleases for no other reason than he is wearing a suit?

I think the point was they (the cops who were not corrupt) knew he was a civilian and were trying to get him to safety, no?

Fisk sees Poindexter shoot people so decides he is obviously an expert martial artist and can play daredevil. And don't get me started on the throwing. There's more but it would take too long to go through them all.

Even from his shooting it is clear he is a combat expert, so worth investigating to find out if he also presumably has good hand to hand capabilities. It's not a stretch of the imagination. As for the throwing stuff... that is his comic book 'superpower'. Remember, it's based on a comic book... some things do not make rational sense and for me it is done in a way that it is easy to suspend my disbelief then it's fine.

Some responses to that within your spoiler. :)

Because it's not aimed at the idiot generation with the 30s attention span.
LOL, so true. :D
