Hello

I've got an old dual Xeon x5650 system arriving soon that I plan to use as my rendering slave for Sony Vegas.

What I want to know is if it's possible to utilise all the 12 cores of the two CPUs in Sony Vegas when rendering.

At the moment I've been using the Mainconcept AVC/AAC format. It's mostly just 1080p@60 content for YouTube that I'm editing with the occasional 4k project.

I read something about using Frameserver from DebugMode when rendering the project for ffmpeg/x264 but I don't understand the differences between that and the SVP codecs. Both in terms of project quality and multi-threaded performance.

Total noob at this whole video editing thing so if somebody would be so kind as to enlighten and advise me it would be greatly appreciated.
