Flickering above 60Hz

I bought an AOC G2790PX and i get a weird flicking on the right side of the monitor, is it likely a GPU or display issue? It doesn't do it on any other of my displays. It only does it above 60Hz, tried turning off Freesync but it makes no difference.

Hmm, possible inverter problem? Each LCD usually has two, one on the right and one on the left. Or maybe it's behaving like a panel that's been OC'd to more than it can handle.. even though yours is supposed to do 144 hz.

Sounds like you've ruled out the GPU/cable as the problem if it works okay on other displays. If any of those displays are either 1440p+ or more than 60 hz at 1080p, that would almost certainly confirm it's the panel that's faulty.

Im using that monitor right now and have for a while with no issue as you describe mate, sounds like an issue with the monitor...
