Which home assistant software

Hi,

Looking at getting something running on Pi or Docker to control and display home automation stuff.

Been looking at Home Assistant IO, OpenHAB and a few others.

Any one used any before and have any recommendations?

Was looking into mycroft which is an open source privacy focused platform.

Still an early startup but can build your own from their releases. Doesn't cost anything, just your hardware.

I'm leaning towards OpenHAB purely because after a quick search Home Assistant didn't appear to interface with Drayton Wiser .

I was thinking that as I am looking at getting the Wiser valves at a later date but need to get a Pi first to run it
