I bought a Sharp tv from Tesco. Reduced from £279 to £179 as a black Friday offer. Add onto that my £89 of Tesco Clubcard coupons, it only cost me £90. Bargain!

still not good enough. costco is cash/debit card only. plus you need to be a member or pay a fee. john lewis has interest free or paypal credit 4 month interest free options available
You can use credit cards in Costco too.
They always rip off the early purchasers, the people buying them on release know that as well.

Bit off topic, but has that changed recently ? They never used to accept credit cards in store apart from their branded Amex.
In fairness its an Amex I use as my credit card but it isn't their branded one.

Was tempted by the prices of the B8's but thought I may as-well go for the C8.
Picked up a Sony A7R2 for £1499 from Jessops (though a few places followed suit) with £200 cashback to come off that later, and the basic 50 1.8 lens for just over half price (£144) from amazon.
Been waiting on a full-frame mirrorless for a while to upgrade from my 5D classic, and decided the prices looked good.

No you can't. I was refused they say its because of fees
It'll be because my credit card is an Amex I suppose, still, it is a credit card and they do accept it

eh if i didn't understand the concept i would have bought a tv in April and not now
Tech gets cheaper with time, and with some tech, you can wait a bit to get a better deal. Waiting for CPU/GPU price drops which always end up improving by the next-gen leaves you in the perma 'I'll just buy next gen' zone.
TVs however barely change at all, safe to wait for those alright.

Go Pro hero 2018 £199.99 new, have seen it advertised for £179.99 recently.
Very have it down to £149.99, if you sign up to a very credit account as a new customer they give you 10% off, I also tracked £15.75 off through quidco, so finally got it for £120 delivered.
I am led to believe with a firmware flash it operates as a hero 5 black.

Another store (not one of the big ones) briefly had it available for £1999 with a discount code, phoned RS yesterday and they price matched.
The code doesn't work anymore.
