M.2 compatible with all motherboards?

I have this board: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming Intel Z370 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard

Good choice! It will run well.
Just note that temperautre will depend on location. Personally I would get a heatsink for the drive and fit it in a riser but that's just me.
