Got the Seagate ST2000DM008 just over a month ago and while it works the noise from it sounds like it is being accessed all the time even when its not. Been running HD Tune tests on it (both normal and safe mode) and the graph over a normal drive does not look good at all.
Showing as firmware 0001 doesn't look good either to me :)

As it's pretty new, try leaving the pc on for 12 or 24 hrs if not already done so.. If windows is trying to index it or some other shenanigans, it should settle down if you leave it on for a decent long period ... Is it a system drive or a storage drive?

Leaving the pc on and idle for a long period will rule out the above as it will have enough time to 'settle in' without being interrupted by reboots and performance tests etc.

That speed profile is wrong
The end of the hard drive cannot be as fast as the begining
Do you have a cashing drive in your computer like Optane?
If you can do
Do a full format on the hard drive
You can use windows for it
And rerun the test
