I think you need the Apple Music family sub to do that unless everyone is using the one account on all devices.

Thanks, thought as much, not a big issue I guess seen as it's voice activated as well.

This may be a stupid dumb question but I’ll ask anyway...
I have an iPhone 8 Plus and a IPad Pro.
I use the Pro as a tv in my bedroom using the Sky Q app, Netflix etc.
Will I be able to use the HomePod as a speaker for when I watch movies?

You can playing a film from iTunes not sure about others.

The improvement by pairing them in stereo is fairly large, I don't regret it.

I have 5 in various rooms and it would be nice to sync music to play over all at once (like I can do with my Echo Plus's)

and to echo above, Stereo pair is most certainly more than the sum of its part, a lot more!

I have 4 and can play on all at once. You tell Siri to play everywhere... They all need to be set as different rooms.

Added a second homepod at the weekend after picking it up from Currys Black Friday sale offer.

Using them to output the audio from my Apple Tv gen 4, my god what a difference that extra Homepod makes

I am thinking of getting 2 home pods for my study to operate in stereo. All my kit is Apple but I use Spotify, am I still going to be able to play my music in stereo? Not bothered about voice control.

You'll be able to Airplay your Spotify music to the Homepods.

You will need to AirPlay it using your phone/mac/iPad.

With an alternate such as Sonos they will play it natively.
