Hello,

I own an MSI GF62 8rc laptop, the power supply that came with it is Input 100-240v 1.8A and Output 19.5v 6.92A 135W.

I tried to power it on a long haul flight, but unfortunately the AC power could only deliver 110v 125W.

Would I be able to use another charger to keep my laptop at least powered on during a flight? Do I just need one with lower wattage? I also noticed I have a USB-C port, would it be possible to charge it via that?

As you can probably tell, I'm a little clueless.

Thanks,

Steph

get a Kilowatt meter and check the actual laptop power consumption at home
Underclock the graphic card and see if you can take the laptop to 100W poower consumption and you will be sorted
