Still got to refurb the front calipers and bleed brake lines. Needs running in and setting up properly.

100 hours at a guess. Mostly researching, the Haynes manual is useless. Modern forums and Facebook groups are excellent resources for information and advice.

It's not for riding you know there are some with fork braces and steering dampers. The fork brace does nothing but add weight, the damper apparently is quite effective so that may be a future addition

Very nice, wish I still had mine but like most at the time it got nicked.
The 250's benefited from a brace more as they only had the single front disc.
I had a damper on mine and it does make a difference, blagged it from one of my prody racer friends at the time.
Those front calipers don't look like the originals ?

Calipers are off an r1, well they are blue spot twin pot calipers found on many yamahas. Can't you tell with my sharty photograph with the r1 in the background
