Memory Upgrade

I bought a Fusion Alpha games system from overclockers last January with 16 gb of RAM, I want to upgrade to 32gb but have a question. I currently have 2 x 8gb ram, can I add the same again or do I need to replace with 2 x 16gb. My machine spec is
Intel Core i7-7700k quad core 4.4ghz
16gb ddr4
NVIDIA Geforce gtx 1080 8gb
Gigabyte GA-Z270-Gaming K3 motherboard.
