Hello, I want to be able to print images onto cds and dvds. I've seen some big all in one printers that you can put cds into a tray and all sorts but I'm not bothered about having the scanner or wireless etc.

What would be a good cheap option?

Thanks :)

Cheapest would really be just to print on a label and whack that on?

Although printers that are capable of printing on CDs are seemingly quite common. Canon 7250 can do it and is about £50.

Maybe a bit of a late reply now but if you need to print quite a number and you can get hold of an old Canon i965 BJ photo printer, it came with a special attachment which allowed it to print photos etc onto CDs and the results were very good both for photo quality prints and CD printing.

I would also add that compatible ink cartridges for that model cost only about £5.99 for the full set of 6 though or course you can put in OEM Canon cartridges if you want precise colour printing but that will cost you about £60 + .
