Best android phone for around £150

Wanting to get the missus a new phone for Christmas as her old Samsung really is on its last legs.

Can stretch the budget higher if needed if theres a significantly better option but other than WhatsApp, Facebook and taking pictures and videos she doesn't use it for much.

A purple phone would also get bonus points!

I'd consider the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite.

One of the advantages of the A2 Lite is that it will not only get Android Pie but also 'Q' and should also get the security updates for a couple of years as well.

A2 lite seems a winner for that price point. It was a low as £117 last week.

Moto G6 are on offer on most sites at the moment. I can highly recommend it.
Also it's available in deep indigo which is close to purple
