My budget is between £2500 to £3000, must include a 2080 ti. I have never overclocked anything before but may look at it in the future if it gets my better fps. My monitor is the x34p 120hz ultra wide 1440p and my 980ti, i7 6700k just don't cut it anymore on ultra.

Hi welcome

The cheapest option first off would be to just buy a new gpu (2080 ti) and slot it into your current system. If you are still not happy after that then go with a new build minus the gpu.

Are you not up for building the pc yourself if need be ? Not as difficult as it might look if you haven't built one before.

Hello, I'm selling my whole system and want to upgrade to something that will last me a long time. I won't build incase I mess up and would prefer the warranty on a pre built. I have tried to configure a few systems with the 2080ti and a i9 9900k but the price difference each time I do varys a lot. All mobos are the same to me lol so not sure what is best.

Just to give you an idea. If you want the 9900K then just swap it in for the 9700K.

Not sure if you want RGB everywhere etc or what sort of case you want but you can always change that to suit.

So you can ask ocuk if they can build a system from your list of parts. Not sure what they would charge for that but you should easily be under your £3000 top limit.

If you are open to a Ryzen cpu then go with the R7 2700/X and a solid X470 board such as the Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7. The AM4 socket is supported to 2020 so the upcoming Ryzen 3rd gen which is due in Q2 2019 would slot in with a bios update.

^^^ lees but might as well push 9900k, you've come from flagship and have the budget so push it :)

Also case with USB C port would be handy and a bit more future proof with likes of mobile phones all going that way etc :)

Since CES has hinted at ryzen 3000 performance which is great ! So either makes worth waiting, or just getting intel and skipping the 2700x since you've got the budget to go for the best !

@Shane12387

aorus boards are better designed , specially the price point of the Maximus, rather get the Aorus Master

if your not doing workloads, push 1tb SSD Sata 3 over NVMe drive - windows you'll notice a little bit of speed, gaming... nothing

Gigabyte after being slaughtered with poor z370 boards, now offer this guy boards to review for free - highly respected

asus does have the slicker BIOS by a good shot!
