Thinking of replacing my 2009 118D ( last three cars have been bm's so like them )
Family of 4 but my wife has a CHR so 4 seats ideal but not essential.

Want something 200+bhp

Test drove a GT86 and quite liked that

Ideally an outright purchase of around £10K

If you wanted to stick with BMW, what about a similar age 330d? Probably not ideal in terms of running costs though, a 10 year old complex diesel could throw up big bills

If you liked the gt86 then something from Audi will bore the ass off of you, almost there entire range do poorly in group tests when "Driver enjoyment" is discussed.

A good condition s2000 or 350z / 370z would do nicely.
Wouldnt touch a 330D, especially an msport as they have an appalling ride quality and despite what many say they are most definitely not sports cars - that huge weight in the nose sees to that (And yes i had one)

Last gen Fiesta ST has to be there as well, prob the best hot hatch this side of 20 grand and the new one is even better so that or the other two RWD cars would be my choices.

Don't think the 130 gives the OP what he appears to be looking for but as an aside they almost look like a good value buy at the minute, even low mileage cars aren't attracting a bonkers premium.

It could be worth considering a 135i coupe and warranty though, albeit the newer hatch is barely any more expensive and offers a bit more practicality. They're a rare car though and could become relatively desirable

If you like the 370z but would like more seats the Infiniti G37 could be worth a glance - with low interior expectations firmly in mind
