top health software

Hi all,

I've some hhd's lying around with some external cases, some will be knackered, some may still be great drives, I just kind of acquire them.

I'm looking for some really good software I can bang on a laptop, connect the hdd and just leave the software checking the health of the drive.

Ideally, something with an easy to understand results page but I'm not fussed if this in Windows or Linux, just easy to use, easy to understand and does a decent job.

HD tune can do an exhaustive sector scan for any bad sectors.

Crystal Disk Info is good for reading the SMART data off the drive, will also tell you power on hours and power on count.
