Sound fading in and out R1800TIII 2.0 Studio Speakers RMS 70 Watts (R1800TIII) please help

Hi I got these speakers a few weeks ago and the sound is fading in and out as if im constantly changing the volume up and down.

Ive tried them on my sound card , onboard sound and through a phone and dab radio all with the same problem any ideas ?

If you have tested with multiple line inputs, then it's probably the speakers faulty.

As Jason says, it's likely the speakers if you get the same with multiple sources.

Probably worth trying a different cable (if you have another you can try) to connect the sources you are using, just to rule that out.

Have you tried using both inputs on the speakers, as they have dual RCA input?

Assuming using another cable and both inputs results in the same problem, then send them back.
