you can get a cheap set of accessories off ebay. that includes a glass screen protector, carry case and i can't remember what else is included for like £7. whereas the orzly screen protector on it's own is like £8.

i got the orzly grip case though at £11 it makes it much better to use on the go and protects the console too.

if you are using docked mainly then get a LAN adapter £13 on amazon for usb 3.0 version don't buy official version it's a rip off. in fact a lot of official products are rip offs including the controllers.

if you have a ps4 or xbox one you can use their controllers (only 1 though) using an 8bitdo dongle i linked to it a page or two back.

get snipperclips, death squared, rogue aces, soccer slammers there are a ton of cheap games less than £10 worth buying.

Thanks mate. That's really useful info

I could not see anything that great online from trusted sellers. To be honest if you just want the unit then get it from John Lewis at £279 and get the 2 year warranty. I would do that but that means driving into the city. I needed it for the weekend with kids birthday and so on

there is a 15% off ebay code flying about atm iirc. selected sellers but it's how i got mine. i got mine for £230ish including mario kart from argos using a code on ebay. let me pick up from argos store 10 min walk from work.

here's what i got in the sale - i got a few others too can't remember them all

https://eshop-prices.com/games/92-disc-jam?currency=GBP

it's a combination of tennis/badminton and air hockey

https://eshop-prices.com/games/934-overcooked-2?currency=GBP

https://eshop-prices.com/games/1603-road-redemption?currency=GBP

the above is road rash from mega drive days but much better with more stuff to do and with pick ups

https://eshop-prices.com/games/236-rocket-league?currency=GBP

https://eshop-prices.com/games/721-rogue-aces?currency=GBP

seemed a fun game

the next one i didn't buy but i was close to buying it

https://eshop-prices.com/games/1238-super-inefficient-golf?currency=GBP

it's golf where you use bombs to move the ball you control when the bombs go off and how many bombs to use. i didn't get it because it looked like it would get boring quick but golf fans may like it.

As a newbie. What's all the is different country prices ? Do you need to make a change or use VPN ?

i would just set it to south africa and be done with it
90% of prices are cheapest in south africa or south africa usually top 3 cheapest 90% of the time

so change your region to south africa on website.

login using console (just put your password in as normal).

then buy using a fee free card like Halifax clarity, revolut, etc.

basically games are different prices all over the world with south africa 9 times out of 10 being the cheapest.

Change your region on the Nintendo website, buy your game, and then change it back.

Some countries (e.g. USA and Mexico) are a pain because you can't use a common UK credit/Debit card on them. Revolut or eShop vouchers can be the solution for those but I just buy on the South Africa store as it's almost as good as Mexico for some games and a lot better for others.
