Then I’d dial it back a tiny bit and see. You don’t want to over do it.

3200Mhz, 14/14/14/28/42, but it was actually running at 3350-ish due to the 103.5 BCLK from what I can remember.

It’s more likely to be a RAM issue bugging out than the CPU at 102, IMO. I take it you’re using the Ryzen RAM Calculator and manual timings rather than XMP?

Turned it back to stock and ram tested and passed. Put it at 3200 14/14/14/14/28/42 with the settings on Ryzen Ram Calculator. Seems stable at the moment at 1904 MC and 182 SC so looking like its the BCLK that is causing instability. This is the TeamGroup 8 Pack 4000hz ram so couldnt use XMP anyway.

Just been sat here idle and computer completely frozen again. Thats just at 3200 14/14/14/14/28 , no BCLK increase at all. Surely 8 Pack ram should be better than normal cheap ram and be able to do the above?

What SOC and volts are you using on the RAM?

I eventually had to use 1.41V on the RAM.

SOC I’m using a +0.042 offset. Takes it to about 1.18V, you definitely want to keep it below 1.2V.

Getting to really hate Ryzen at the moment. Wipes the computer. Reinstalled everything. 3200 14 seems to be stable at the moment but getting 1878 MC and 178 SC now?? How?? Nothing has changed lol

Yeah. One thing i have noticed is that when it crashes and i restart the pc i get the amd warning saying its been reset due to a problem. Would that do that or does that suggest a graphics issue?

I'm just resetting the bios now but it won't clear the saves I've made. Will flashing the bios again work? Will it let me write v2.0.0 over v2.0.0? And will that clear the saves?

If you haven’t already, pop the battery out for a minute. Should clear everything but does mean you’ll have to re-enter all your RAM timings too.

Tried that and still doesnt clear. Ive just overwritten them with stock settings and then reentered the 3200 14/14/14/14/28 and now getting 1912 MC and 182 SC so just going leave it at that lol. 1 night of head scratching is enough

Yeah. The Taichi X470 board is a pain to get stable i think. For instance in the fan settings you can set the speeds for a given temperature. Doesnt even work half the time. Going look for some 120mm fans that are much quieter than the Fractal ones ive got on the S36 360mm AIO. Know of any?
