Upgrading from 780TI for <£150

Shop around you - you can get an RX570 8GB for under £150.
RX570 a decent upgrade from the 780Ti? Is power usage the same or less as I'm only rocking a 500W

No there's nothing worth upgrading too. Even the RX580 wont really be an improvement. You'd gain by having the additional graphics memory but at 1080p, only barely.

I think the 780ti is on average slightly faster than a rx570. Though you may be somewhat limited by the 3gb vram.
For any meaningful (read: not a pointless sidegrade/minimal upgrade) gains, you're looking at least a 1660ti/2060 or Vega 56/64.

780Ti is fine still at 1080p IF you aren't hitting Vram limits, which you can see in Task Manager.

980 Ti seems to be cropping up for around £150 these days. After you sold your 780 Ti you'd only be down about £80 and have a decent, if not spectacular, upgrade.
Yes, but I don't think it goes for that low.
In terms of performance, 980ti, 1070 and 1660ti are all around the same ballpark.

980 Ti would be a great upgrade. Overclock to 1450+mhz and it'll be a solid 60%+ faster than the 780 Ti.

It's because the GPU makes have gotten greedy and performance in the £150-350 bracket has stagnated over the last few years.
The performance increases we used to see in any given price bracket has disappeared now unfortunately.
It basically means you have to wait much longer for a decent upgrade in any price range.

I don't think you'll get a better deal than that, not for a while. I sold my 1070 for £215 a few weeks ago. What condition is it in?
Bite their hand off for that price IMO. It's a very healthy upgrade. You could also sell the 780 Ti and get more than half your money back, given they go for £85-100 on Ebay. Hell, even CeX give £51 cash for no hassle, which still brings the cost of upgrading well under £100.
