Jesus literally said he who has not sinned should throw the first stone, its one of his best known quotes, there isn't an equivalence here between Christianity and Islam that you're trying to suggest
typical unintelligible riposte from you, TBH. i'm not suggesting anything other than stoning was a thing and not just a "story".

I think you're confused. The stories of the Old Testament are not about Christians and most of the people in the New Testament are not Christians. That stoning happened in the bible does not mean that Christianity permitted it, but that people in that time period stoned others.

Christianity explicitly preaches not killing others but choosing the way of peace. Obviously Christians have killed people in the name of the religion, but Christ was clearly against it. The same is not true of Mohammed who beheaded prisoners of war.

It's their country with their laws.... Why do we need to keep shoving our noses in it?

When we're importing a religion to the west on a large scale you can't just blindly ignore ideologoical conflicts such as this.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...se-of-belonging-poll-homosexuality-sharia-law

78% said they would like to integrate into British life on most things apart from Islamic schooling and some laws.

So they don't want to abide by some British laws eh?

However, when asked to what extent they agreed or disagreed that homosexuality should be legal in Britain, 18% said they agreed and 52% said they disagreed, compared with 5% among the public at large who disagreed. Almost half (47%) said they did not agree that it was acceptable for a gay person to become a teacher, compared with 14% of the general population.

So 82% of British Muslims either think that homosexuality should be illegal (presumably punished harshly like in most Muslim countries) or likely just refused to answer to avoid sounding bigoted, only 18% agreed that homosexuality should be legal.

“One in six Muslims say they would like to live more separately, a quarter would like to live under sharia law. It means that as a society we have a group of people who basically do not want to participate in the way that other people [do].

Thank god it's only a quarter but how will that change going forward with mass immigration from less developed Muslim countries and if there's a ever a pro-Sharia political party will the more westernised UK Muslims vote against it?

Phillips said we should not be afraid of challenging Muslims on the core values of British society.

No we shouldn't but lets face it because of the left and political correctness we very much are.

Not really, people are bashing Islam and religion in general. It is a bit different.

For example, if someone says they don’t like cancer presumably you don’t assume they don’t like cancer patients?

Perhaps if you think of Islam as the cancer and Muslims as the cancer patients in that comparison then maybe the distinction is a bit clearer for you.
