Should I upgrade my ram, or is it pointless/waste of money?

I've had the current ram for 3 years now:

HyperX Fury 16gb (2x8gb) 2133Mhz DDR4 CL14

I was wondering if its worthwhile to think about going to 32gb and faster ram, or will there not be much of a noticeable difference? I feel as if my ram usage is pretty high and I could benefit from upgrading, but curious to hear your opinion.

Resource monitor will tell you how much memory you have free. Use that to decide whether you need more.

Faster memory probably wouldn't be noticeable anywhere except benchmarks.

To some extent it'll depend on what you're using the machine for.

I'll check in a little while.

Mostly gaming, but I multitask a lot. Chrome seems to to hog a lot of memory.

Have you tried overclocking it? You'll probably find it'll do a lot more.

I think it can only go to 2666, which it's at right now.

Yes it will be faster, will you notice ?No.... How much faster? Check YouTube.... Did you give all the info required for people to reply No... What cpu, what videocard .

Faster RAM will make single percentage difference, more RAM might be better for you and also allow you to use a much faster RAMDisk for temporary files etc. As mentioned use Task Manager's resource meter to gauge how much you're using.
