The power percentage is relative to the base bios power. i.e if a card is 250w out of the box, moving the slider to 330w is +132%, but if your card is 300w out of the box and you move to 330w it's only +110%

I believe at +125% my asus strix is at 330w - my overclock is +151mhz, where the out of the box boost clock is 1650mhz, so that gives it a new boost clock of 1801mhz. Fan speed is on a custom curve but generally at full load the fan won't go above 65% (I've set to only go above 65% if it gets to 75c, which it never has as I found once the fans go over 65% they start to make this really annoying high pitched sound), for Temps the hottest I've seen is 73c with a room temp of 27c. The "bouncing" I was refering to is based on the load of the card, at 99% load and after several minutes of gaming the clocks are 2050mhz, but if I do something in the game and the load suddenly drops to 80% or something, the clock will go over 2100 and up to 2150mhz, the clocks also go straight to 2150mhz even at 99% load when I first launch my games (maybe because the temps are only in the 40s or 50s)

I often spend time imagine how high I could push it with a 380w bios and a water loop but I'm stuck with the air cooler for now

I put the slider to 125% and max power in HW Monitor shows exactly 330W.

I used OC Scanner which apparently gave me + 89 MHz on the core. On the voltage curve it says + 135 MHz on the top end. Kind of confusing. Why wouldn't it just say + 135 MHz overall. I am guessing, it's add the + 89 on top of the out of the box OC.

Usually I seem to get just under 2100, when first loading up a game.

If the game uses like 200 fps (1440p) the clockspeed will go below 2000 in game. In more demanding games like Assassins Creed or BF5 It goes to just under 2100 on startup, then stays dead on 2040MHz for hours.

I am using a 1:1 fan curve and it doesn't go over 70c.

Loving the performance, but thinking about trying a manual OC to see if I can get any more out. My experience with OC scanner so far is that it gets a pretty much close to max clock as manual, using another card.

Looking forward to giving the freebie games a try later - I'm limited to evenings, once kids are in bed, but that'll change once my two year old starts nursery next week (I'm retired and very much looking forward to an empty house 5 hours a day).

Here's my mid-build and "nearly finished" rig - just some cable tweaking and light-hiding to sort, then I can worry about telling the wife how much it all cost...

Hypothetically lads, if I wanted a quiet two slot card, should I rule out the 2080 Ti, and even the 2080? I know the FEs are dual slot, and some of the EVGAs, but I'm thinking they might be too much for an SFF case? What do you reckon - if I want cool AND quiet in a two slot design, should I be looking at 2070 or less?

Rather get the cheapest 300A card, slap a EK block and loop on it and save money to buy many, many mountain dews and doritos

At last my step up for my 2080 has finished que just paid so XC 2080Ti incoming. oh by the way for any of u guys that have brought the EVGA on or after the 15/1/2019 u can get an extra free game racing/shooter on steam just check out the evga site.

Hy there.Y need some help please. Y have a Zotac twinfan 2080ti ,that y buy from second hand,and it come with the bios from a Zotac 2080ti blower

The fans are 100% and its quite annoying. Y try to flash the bios,tinking that solve the problem,but y can not flash the bios,it give me error: GPU Mistmach With another nvflash version y try to override PCI id,y give it Y finaly ,but then Error: update aborted. Y try to put the original bios ,not another,and no way...

y use the comands nvflash64 --protectoff and then nvflash64 - 6 xxxx.rom
